Technical Tip Tuesday Presented by DocuSketch
Why Proper Documentation Is Critical for Large Restoration Jobs and Commercial Projects
Avoid costly mistakes by leveraging best practices in the field for accurate documentation
This week’s Technical Tip with Holly Baldwin, Senior Customer Success Manage at DocuSketch, focuses on how misuse of technology can lead to improper documentation and workflow issues. Holly shares an example she recalls on a warehouse job.
A team was documenting a large warehouse, but their photos were taken from behind tall stacks of boxes. The result? You may have already guessed, there was not one clear sightline to the ceiling corners. Without those corners visible, creating an accurate sketch becomes nearly impossible. In this case, the customer had an inaccurate sketch because of improper use of technology when they were documenting.
Technology works best when we use it properly. A few extra minutes upfront can save hours of frustration.
Stay tuned for next week’s tip!
