This week’s Technical Tip focuses on how technology can improve your accuracy and protect your team when documenting on the job. When you’re creating sketches, use your best judgment. Here’s the approach Holly recommends:

Start in the center of the room.
Don’t forget the closet. Pro tip: Even if it’s packed, do your best to capture its width and depth. Move items if needed for accuracy.
In kitchens, cover all sides of the island.

A few years ago, an owner called Holly about a claim where a customer accused his team of stealing a Nike shoebox full of cash and a coin jar from a closet.
