In an era of record low unemployment, it is hard to imagine having a serious discussion about building depth of talent at any level, in any organization—especially the direct labor force.
When employees don’t perform as expected, it’s usually for one of two reasons: they don’t know how to do the task correctly or they aren’t motivated to do it.
While working with clients earlier this month, I began thinking about the reasons behind creating surveys to find out if employees are satisfied with their jobs.
