Quick Response launches Response Plus, a proactive preparedness program for property and facility leaders

New program helps commercial properties prepare for water and fire emergencies before they ever happen

Quick Response, the Capital Region’s leading remediation company, today announced the launch of Response Plus, a proactive preparedness program designed to help commercial property owners, facility leaders, and building operators reduce uncertainty, minimize risk, and respond more effectively when disaster strikes. Built to address the reality that water and fire events are not a matter of if, but when, Response Plus equips properties and their management teams with a clear, customized plan before an emergency happens.

For many commercial properties, the greatest risk is not simply the event itself, but the confusion and delays that follow. Without a documented response plan, teams can lose valuable time locating shutoffs, identifying the right emergency partners, protecting unaffected areas, and notifying key stakeholders. Quick Response developed Response Plus to help organizations prepare for those critical first minutes and hours, when fast action can significantly reduce damage severity, business interruption, tenant disruption, and long-term recovery costs. And organizations only pay when they need to use Quick Response’s mitigation and remediation services.

“Response Plus was conceptualized to give property and facility owners and managers clarity before a crisis even begins,” said Frank Lara, Chief Operations Officer at Quick Response. “When a water or fire event occurs, the first few minutes can shape the entire outcome. By planning ahead, properties can act faster, reduce disruption, protect occupants, and recover with greater confidence.”

Response Plus is designed as a practical, ongoing preparedness system rather than a one-time checklist. The program includes:

  • Custom emergency response planning for each property
  • Priority service status for urgent incident response
  • Vendor pre-planning to reduce confusion during emergencies
  • Policy review to strengthen preparedness and decision-making
  • Ongoing support and plan updates as needs evolve

This combination helps property teams understand roles and responsibilities, establish response protocols, and coordinate trusted partners in advance so they are ready to act immediately when an incident occurs.

The launch comes at a time when many buildings remain vulnerable to after-hours incidents, delayed reporting, and inconsistent emergency procedures. Small leaks can become major losses in a matter of hours, and even a single event can create ripple effects far beyond the visibly damaged area. Hidden costs often include tenant complaints or displacement, revenue loss, operational downtime, project delays, insurance scrutiny, and the potential for long-term structural or mold-related issues. By taking a proactive approach, Response Plus helps properties move from reactive decision-making to disciplined execution.

Response Plus is intended for organizations that manage or operate commercial properties and need a smarter way to prepare for water and fire emergencies. A prepared property is one that can respond within minutes, rely on clear communication protocols, activate pre-established service relationships, control the spread of damage, and accelerate recovery.

With a stronger preparedness foundation in place, building teams can lower claim severity, protect operations, and create greater confidence among tenants, staff, and stakeholders.

Response Plus is available now from Quick Response. The company encourages property and facility leaders to schedule a free preparedness visit, receive an emergency preparedness plan, and begin building a more resilient response strategy before the next incident occurs.

Quick Response provides restoration and emergency preparedness solutions that help property owners and facility professionals protect buildings, reduce downtime, and recover more effectively from unexpected events. With the launch of Response Plus, the company is expanding its commitment to helping clients prepare before disaster strikes—not just respond after the damage is done.
