Paul Davis of Louisville has been awarded the PD Cup, the highest honor presented within the Paul Davis franchise network across North America.

Paul Davis of Louisville received the PD Cup during the company’s 2026 awards ceremony, earning the highest honor presented within the Paul Davis franchise network. The award is given annually to one office whose performance, story and overall contributions distinguish it among the company’s franchise operations. This year’s recognition was based on the office’s 2025 results, with eight offices qualifying for consideration out of approximately 380 franchise locations across North America. After evaluating performance metrics, business story, community involvement and network contributions, Paul Davis CEO Mike Hopkins selected Paul Davis of Louisville as the winner.

For local property owners, commercial property managers, insurance professionals and industry partners, the recognition reinforces Paul Davis of Louisville’s position as a trusted restoration partner for complex property losses, emergency response and recovery work.

Restoration work requires more than technical ability. It requires timely communication, documentation, coordination with stakeholders, sensitivity to tenants and occupants, and the ability to manage a project from mitigation through reconstruction. The PD Cup recognition reflects Paul Davis of Louisville’s ability to deliver across those areas while meeting high performance standards within its national network.

Paul Davis of Louisville qualified for PD Cup consideration by exceeding key performance benchmarks across multiple categories in 2025. The office performed far above the minimum sales threshold while achieving exceptional year-over-year growth and exceeding network and district medians for growth and sales. It also surpassed customer experience and profitability standards, with 71.6% of closed jobs receiving customer survey feedback, an NPS score of 84, and overall performance well above the benchmark.

“This recognition means a great deal to our office because it reflects much more than one strong year,” said Charlie Horn, President of Paul Davis of Louisville. “It reflects decades of sacrifice, leadership and commitment from the people who built this company. I’m especially grateful to my parents, whose dedication helped establish the legacy we have today. I’m honored to continue that legacy, but this award belongs to our team. It is the result of a lot of individual greatness coming together under one roof.”

Founded in 1980, Paul Davis of Louisville has deep roots in the region and in the broader Paul Davis system. Under founder Bill Horn, the office helped build a reputation for dependable service, relationship-driven business practices and consistent support for property owners and insurance partners during difficult moments.

Today, the office serves homeowners, commercial property owners, property managers, insurance agents, adjusters and facility leaders throughout the Louisville area. Its services include emergency mitigation, water damage restoration, fire and smoke restoration, contents support, reconstruction and large-loss response.

The company’s local market presence has also stood out. According to Paul Davis network brand-awareness research, Paul Davis of Louisville holds a 55% brand awareness score in the Louisville metro market, the highest in the Paul Davis network across North America.

“We’ve always understood something simple but important,” said Artie Harris, Director of Marketing & Business Development for Paul Davis of Louisville. “The brand must be seen. It must be remembered. It must be trusted. Because when disaster strikes, familiarity becomes trust, and trust becomes the call. That philosophy has shaped how we invest in our market, how we show up in the community, and how we support the partners who depend on us.”

Paul Davis of Louisville leaders emphasized that the award reflects the strength of the entire team, including emergency response, mitigation, contents, estimating, reconstruction, administration and leadership.

“I’m incredibly proud of what this award represents,” said Samantha Judd, General Manager of Paul Davis of Louisville. “I’m also very grateful for the trust I’ve been given to grow within this company. To start in the field and have the opportunity to grow into leadership says a lot about who we are as an organization. This team cares deeply about doing things the right way, serving people well, and continuing to raise the standard.”

For industry partners, the PD Cup recognition provides a clear point of validation. Paul Davis of Louisville has demonstrated the systems, leadership, communication and performance needed to support property owners and insurance professionals during urgent and often complex losses.

Company leaders said the award is not a finish line, but a reminder of the responsibility that comes with trust.
