Reel Disaster Restoration Rockfish Invitational Set to Bring Restoration's Elite to Kent Narrows This October

Restoration professionals looking for the industry's next can't miss event won’t have to look far: The Reel Disaster Restoration Rockfish Invitation, a new invitational rockfishing tournament build exclusively for the restoration industry, will take place October 5, 2026, at Harris’ Crab House in Kent Narrows, Maryland.
Backed by Home Depot as Title Sponsor, the Invitational is shaping up to be one of the most talked about gatherings on the restoration industry calendar this year. Participation is limited to groups in the industry, and only a few spots remain.
“We’re excited to bring the industry together, give back to a good cause, and give people a chance to win $20,000 while they’re at it,” said Alexus Neidert, Reel Disaster Restoration.
Competitors will spend the day on the water vying for two top prizes, longest fish and heaviest six-stringer, each carrying a payout of up to $20,000. Reel Disaster Restoration is additionally offering a raffle drawing for a trip for two to Buena Vista Sportfishing Resort in Iztapa, Guatemala. The day brings networking, competition, and hospitality built around the restoration community, with the tournament also supporting the Anne Arundel County Professional Fire Fighters Charitable Foundation in the background.
Spots for the inaugural tournament are limited. Registration details are available at ReelDisaster.com.
