Technical Tip Tuesday Presented by iGuide

Leveraging 360° Virtual Tours to Speed Up Claims

Learn how 360 virtual tours help restorers improve their communication, documentation, and collaboration during the claims process

By Kayla McGowan
July 7, 2026

Hello and welcome back to another month of Technical Tip Tuesday, sponsored by our partners at iGUIDE. We’re starting off this series strong by diving into ways to streamline your claims and improve your communication with adjusters and customers using 360° virtual tours.

We’re joined by Kayla Theriot, National Account Executive at iGUIDE, who brings field experience and knowledge of how today’s technology is transforming restorer’s workflow.

One of the biggest opportunities restorers have right now is using virtual tours proactively, not just as a documentation tool, but as a communication and collaboration asset. Too often, 360° solutions are treated as a means to generate a sketch. But the real value lies in the immersive virtual walkthrough itself.

Walking through a virtual tour real time while you’re on a call with the adjuster or customer can help you guide them through the loss, explain what you’re seeing, outline your scope, and answer any questions they may have immediately. This allows you to collaborate and flow through your process which accelerates your approvals.

Leveraging your technology isn’t just about speed, it’s about reducing unwanted and unneeded friction. Faster approvals mean faster job completion, less back-and-forth, and a better customer experience. This allows the customer to get back into their home or business sooner.

If you’re already investing in tools like 360° cameras, make sure you’re using them beyond the basics. Think about how they can help you improve your communication, documentation, and outcomes.

We’ll see you next week for another Technical Tip Tuesday. Take care!
