Technical Tip Tuesday Presented by DocuSketch
Using Speech-to-Scope Technology to Improve Restoration Estimates
Learn how real-time documentation tools are designed to help restorers capture accurate scope details
This month’s Technical Tip Tuesdays are sponsored by DocuSketch, and we’re covering habits, tools, scope, documentation, 360 imagery, and more.
This week, Chris Tilkov a Director at DocuSketch and Founder of AiME Estimate Review, shares how restorers can leverage the speech-to-scope technology to capture more accurate, real-time details during their initial walkthrough and what common scoping errors that are eliminated with this tool.
Chris shares that this tool allows restorers to simply talk through what they’re seeing on-site, rather than relying on a check list, their handwritten notes, or pulling key details from their mind later. This allows them to lead with intent. What they’re seeing and noting with speech-to-scope is converting into accurate estimate line items, which goes far beyond a transcript.
Once they have their scope, they’re able to look inside of DocuSketch, review, edit, and change them with a few clicks instead of having to rebuild the entire scope in Xactimate.
We will see you next week!
