With the advent of exotic pathogenic threats making headlines worldwide, the bugs and superbugs that are really impacting public spaces in the USA are not so exotic. 

This story starts back in September of 2015, with routine annual inspections by the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development at the Eureka Gardens apartment complex in Jacksonville, Fla.

One of the biggest challenges faced by people sick from mold is the fact that doctors, friends, and other family members dismiss their symptoms. Many victims of mold sickness are labelled as hypochondriacs and accused of not being sick at all.
