Improving IAQ with RGF's Ultimate Photocatalytic Oxidation In-Duct Air Purifying System

Industry News
February 8, 2017

RGF Environmental Group, Inc., continues to make strides and innovative improvements in products for the HVAC/IAQ industry. The patent-pending UPCO QR™ photocatalytic oxidation in-duct air purifying system has the lowest pressure loss, highest surface area and the most competitive price compared to similar PCO products in the HVAC/IAQ marketplace.

The unique combination of technologies incorporated into the UPCO QR™ work to create RGF’s exclusive low pressure loss, pure carbon infused bed. Combining titanium dioxide, silver, copper and zinc metal into this proprietary dual catalyst bed traps and then reduces common indoor air pollutants. VOC’s, bacteria, viruses, mold spores and odors are effectively diminished as air cycles repeatedly through the HVAC system, resulting in improved indoor air quality for both residential and commercial applications.

The high-quality UPCO QR™ was created to fill the mid-level space between RGF’s recently introduced BLU QR® UV Stick Light and the most effective IAQ in-duct air purifier on the market, the REME HALO®. The contemporary features are designed for quick installation and maintenance. The standard 24 VAC ballast makes install a snap. It comes standard with two mounting options in the box, including the easy-to-install magnetic mount and surface mount. The quick release lamp allows for hassle- free, no tools lamp replacement.

This latest product is the result of RGF’s award winning engineering and vertically integrated “Made in the USA" manufacturing and assembly process. Since RGF develops and makes their own products their costs are reduced allowing RGF to price the superior UPCO QR™ lower than other in-duct PCO products in the corresponding HVAC/IAQ marketplace. In addition, unlike some PCO competitors, the UPCO QR™ comes with a standard two (2) year warranty on both the ballast and UV lamp.

For additional information, please contact Lisa Bailey at RGF Environmental Group, Inc. 1101 West 13th Street, Riviera Beach, Florida 33404 USA. Tel: (561) 848-1826 or 800-842-7771 Fax: (561) 848-9454, or visit our website:  http://www.rgf.com/air-purification.
