Cooper Graves Industrial Acquires Rights to Established Specialty Construction Product Portfolio

Acquisition expands CGI’s presence in foundation repair, waterproofing, and moisture management markets

Cooper Graves Industrial, LLC (CGI), a woman-owned and veteran owned industrial products company, today announced the completion of its acquisition of the rights to the LumberKote®, BaseKote®, Fusion®,LumberKleen®, and Xtract® product lines from Maverick Sealants, LLC. The transaction closed on May 26, 2026.

Under the new ownership, Cooper Graves Industrial will oversee product development, manufacturing oversight,distribution, customer support, and future growth initiatives for the portfolio throughout North America.

The products serve contractors and professionals operating within the foundation repair, crawl space repair,waterproofing, moisture management, and specialty construction industries.

The portfolio includes:

  • LumberKote® – a specialized wood protection and moisture-management solution used in crawl space and structural applications
  • BaseKote® – a protective coating system designed for foundation and construction-related applications
  • Fusion® – a specialty coating and restoration product supporting repair and moisture-management solutions
  • LumberKleen® – a cleaning and preparation solution designed to support restoration and treatment applications
  • Xtract® – a specialty product supporting moisture-management and restoration-related applications

Together, the products support contractors focused on protecting structures from moisture intrusion, environmental damage, and long-term deterioration.

Since 2018, LumberKote® has been used to protect more than 20 million square feet of structural framingmaterials and has been adopted by contractors serving residential and commercial customers across multiplestates throughout the United States. The broader product portfolio supports professionals involved in crawlspace encapsulation, foundation repair, waterproofing, moisture management, and structural protection.

Cooper Graves Industrial is co-owned by Rosie Graves and Clint Cooper, experienced business leaders withbackgrounds in operations, distribution, customer service, business development, and specialty construction.
