Honoring Leslie Anderson’s Extraordinary Career in the Restoration Industry

By Kayla McGowan
April 2, 2025

Meet R&R’s 2025 Women in Restoration Award Winner, Leslie Anderson! For Leslie, this is a heartfelt milestone and another achievement in her exceptional career in the restoration industry.

Leslie stands out as a leader with over 25 years of experience in the field. She currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Training & Launch at Paul Davis Restoration, her journey is marked by a commitment to mentorship, education and innovation. She also holds the prestigious title of 1st Vice President and Executive Director for the IICRC Board of Directors, where she chairs the Education Committee. Her accolades include being a Master Restorer and Instructor, roles that highlight her technical expertise and passion for empowering others.

Family is at the heart of her accomplishments, as she balances her professional achievements while being a wife and mother. Reflecting on this recognition, she says, “This award is not just about me; it’s about the mentors, peers and the next generation of women in restoration who continue to inspire progress within the industry.”

When asked about her career, Leslie credits pivotal moments, such as her early mentors who sparked her passion for restoration and her determination to continually learn and grow. She encourages others to embrace resilience, saying, “Work diligently, never quit and when you face setbacks, get back up and try again.”

Passing the torch to the next generation is a mission she holds near and dear to her heart, believing in the power of mentorship to inspire women to leave their mark in restoration. Leslie urges everyone to express gratitude to those who have supported them and to pay it forward: “None of us got here alone, and it’s our responsibility to pave the way for others.”

Leslie’s leadership style, defined by empathy and servant leadership, continues to shape the lives and careers of many. Her advice to industry professionals? “Lead with humility, stay curious and always ask yourself: Did I make a difference today?”

Congratulations, Leslie!
