Marketing Minute: Finding Your Business Avatar (AKA Your Ideal Client)

Have you ever put some real thought into who the ideal client is for your restoration company? This means so much more than "anyone who has a house fire or flood." Establishing a profile for your ideal customers will help you brand your company, better serve your customers, and also help you more quickly identify potential red flags with a job before signing a contract to do the work. After all, it is okay to turn away some jobs, right?

O.P. and Tim have worked very hard as a team to establish Allied Restoration's business avatar - their ideal client. Do you know who that is? They are considered the restoration contractor for the stars and others with high net worth. That means Allied serves very high end clients, including celebrities, in Southern California. But they didn't get these clients by accident, nor did they gain that reputation by accident! They worked to build this brand by figuring out who their goal clients are and how Allied can meet the needs of that specific demographic like no one else in their service area, and then they went after them!

So ... what is your ideal client? This episode of Marketing Minute will help you establish a much more clear picture of your "business avatar." Plus, they offer tips on establishing marketing specifically for that demographic - and give you a little homework!
