This year, the Marion E. Wade Award of Honor (named for the company's founder) went to ServiceMaster Restoration Services, based in Columbus, Ga. President Steve Morgan accepted the award at ServiceMaster Restore’s international convention in July on behalf of the company’s “outstanding team of experienced professionals” and his two business partners: Brad Wilson and Jeff Wilson.

“We’ve built a strong reputation throughout the Southeast for being the go-to resource when disaster strikes,” said Morgan, who also serves as co-chairperson of the national franchise council for ServiceMaster Restore. “Our team gives it their all on each and every job. They know better than anyone what it takes to help get families back to living their lives and business back in operation after a  fire, flood or other damaging event – and that’s one of the things that makes this award so special for our team.”

Gary Bauer, chief operating officer of ServiceMaster Clean and ServiceMaster Restore, presented the award and praised Morgan and his partners for their leadership. “They have built a great team, with strong, steady focus on both sales and service. It’s the right combination for a winning franchise, and the right combination for delivering an industry-leading experience for our customers.”
