By Eric Fish
July 17, 2013

Bed BugThe July R&R dropped last week and those of you who have already seen it might have noticed the cover story that we did on bed bug remediation. Fitting then that we also happened to stumble upon Terminix’s annual report that ID’ed the top 15 cities with the biggest increases – key word “increases” - in reported infestations and the top cities with the greatest number of call volume related to bed bug infestations.

  • Detroit
  • New York City
  • Columbus
  • Los Angeles
  • Dallas
  • Chicago
  • Houston
  • Baltimore

And now here are the top 15 cities with the greatest increases in bed bug complaints:

(Cue the drum roll, please)

  • Sacramento, CA (54% increase)
  • Milwaukee (53%)
  • Las Vegas (50%)
  • Columbus, OH (47%)
  • Baltimore (46%)
  • Riverside-San Bernardino, CA (41%)
