Shawn Hester is a restoration operations executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in the restoration and construction industries. He currently serves as Director of Operations at 1-800 WATER DAMAGE of Harrisburg, where he built the operation from the ground up into one of Central Pennsylvania’s top-performing restoration franchises — earning a five-star Best of Business rating in 2026 and a Simply the Best of Harrisburg 2026 nomination. Hester has managed large loss mitigation projects valued up to $5M for clients including IKEA, the University of Pennsylvania, and the Drexelbrook in Philadelphia. A U.S. Air Force veteran with 11 years in Combat Search and Rescue, Hester holds AI certifications from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and Google, and has developed proprietary AI-powered tools for Xactimate scope generation, F9 justification, and field estimating.
