The IICRC S500 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Water Damage Restoration was made available for public review earlier in 2013, and we received a lot of comments that have helped us to create a revised document with multiple changes and clarifications throughout. 

During the IICRC’s October shareholder meeting in Vancouver, WA, three new members were elected to join the 12 incumbent members to comprise the 2013-2014 Board of Directors.

Review for the Water Restoration Standards Revision (S500) officially closed on May 13 with more than 700 comments.

The IICRC Board of Directors met at the end of January to continue the process of revising and refining the organization’s strategic plan.
