IICRC 2013-2014

Board of Directors

During the IICRC’s October shareholder meeting in Vancouver, WA, three new members were elected to join the 12 incumbent members to comprise the 2013-2014 Board of Directors.

Tony Wheelwright was elected Chairman of the IICRC Board of Directors. In this capacity, Wheelwright will also serve as Chairman of the executive committee which includes: Hank Unck, first vice president; Pete Duncanson, second vice president; Jenny Boymal, international vice president; Norm Maia, treasurer; and Kevin Pearson, secretary. Patrick Winters will continue to serve as the IICRC president.

Additional members of the 2013-2014 Board of Directors include: Graham Bedwell, Dennis Blake, Joe Dobbins, Joseph Hughes, Craig Jasper, Patrick Moffett, Darrell Paulson, Rodney Paulson and Paul Pearce.

New to the Board of Directors this year are Joe Dobbins, Joseph Hughes and Paul Pearce. Also new this year is the removal of the certification council chairman position from the executive committee. This position, filled by Norm Maia, now falls under the second vice president.

IICRC Certified Firms Target of Scam

The IICRC has recently become aware of a scam involving an individual claiming to be an IICRC official. This individual has been taking advantage of the Certified Firm referral network to gain access to several Firms’ phone numbers in an attempt to steal away its employees. The individual has been representing themselves as someone from the IICRC and then asking for contact information for its technicians, which he will then contact and offer a job.

Please know that the IICRC would not call a Certified Firm and ask for a technician’s personal contact information. If this has happened to you, or if you have any further information, please contact headquarters at (360) 693-5675.
