ZenFire Integrates with The Compliance Engine to Streamline Third-Party Fire and Life Safety Compliance Reporting

October 19, 2026

ZenFire, the fire inspection and compliance software platform built for fire protection contractors, today announced its integration with The Compliance Engine, a leading third-party compliance reporting system used across the fire and life safety industry.

The integration connects ZenFire's inspection workflow directly to The Compliance Engine, giving fire protection contractors a single, streamlined path from field inspection to compliance submission. Inspection results captured in ZenFire can now flow directly into The Compliance Engine, eliminating manual re-entry, reducing reporting delays, and cutting down on errors that arise from moving data between systems by hand.

"Fire protection contractors already have enough to manage in the field. They shouldn't have to fight their software just to get a compliant report filed," said Ron Smith, Chief Account Manager at ZenFire."This integration means the work our customers do on-site shows up accurately and immediately where it needs to, with no extra steps, no re-keying, and no lag between an inspection and a submission."

Key benefits of the integration include:

●      Real-Time, Accurate Submissions. Inspection data moves from the field into The Compliance Engine without manual re-entry, reducing errors and delays.

  • Faster Deficiency Corrections. Contractors can identify and resolve compliance deficiencies more quickly, keeping properties in compliance and reducing risk exposure.

●      Greater Accountability Across the Compliance Ecosystem. Property owners, AHJs (authorities having jurisdiction), and insurers gain clearer, more consistent visibility into compliance status.

The integration is available now to ZenFire customers. Fire protection contractors using ZenFire can connect their accounts to The Compliance Engine without additional software.

About ZenFire

ZenFire is a fire inspection and compliance software platform built for fire protection contractors across the United States and Canada. ZenFire helps contractors manage inspections, scheduling, reporting, and compliance documentation on a single platform, purpose-built for the demands of fire and life safety work.

About The Compliance Engine

The Compliance Engine is a secure, cloud-based third-party reporting platform used by fire prevention bureaus and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to track compliance with inspections, testing, and maintenance for fire protection systems and backflow preventors. Contractors submit compliant and non-compliant reports directly through the platform, which notifies building owners of required work, alerts the contractor of record, and shares results with the local AHJ, giving code officials clearer visibility into compliance across their jurisdiction.
