magicplan, a leading mobile solution for property documentation and field workflows, today announced the launch of magicplan 360Link. This new feature lets professionals connect a range of third-party 360° cameras directly to the magicplan app for high-quality, spatially contextualized visual documentation.

Built in collaboration with leading camera manufacturers, including Insta360 and RICOH360, 360Link delivers seamless, instant integration with industry-standard hardware. This enables users to capture immersive 360° room views while continuing to work inside the magicplan ecosystem — all from their existing devices.

“We listened closely to our users, who love the accuracy and simplicity of magicplan but don’t want to give up the immersive visibility that 360 tours provide,” said Stefan Geib, COO of magicplan.

“Many were frustrated, either because they had 360 cameras they still wanted to use, or because they felt forced into buying new hardware. 360Link changes that, giving professionals the freedom to choose the hardware they prefer without compromising on speed, usability, or budget.”

With 360 cameras already widely distributed across the industry, 360Link offers a future-proof solution that helps users maximize existing investments rather than abandon hardware they’ve already adopted. magicplan’s open approach ensures compatibility with all 360° cameras that expose their data publicly, rejecting closed ecosystems and unnecessary software lock-ins.

In addition to camera integrations, 360Link also supports native smartphone panorama modes, allowing users to capture immersive views even when dedicated hardware isn’t available. Whether working on a high-end documentation workflow or needing a quick solution in the field,360Link adapts to the moment.
