New Integration Connects Tramex Moisture Meters Directly to magicplan App for On-Site Documentation

A new partnership between magicplan and Tramex brings restoration professionals a faster way to document moisture readings on site. The new feature allows users to connect Tramex meters to the magicplan app via Bluetooth and log readings directly into their project plans.

Faster Moisture Tracking Without the Paper Trail

Restoration technicians and contractors can now pair popular Tramex models like the ME5 and CMEX5 to their phones or tablets. Once connected, readings are automatically placed on the floor plan in magicplan — no clipboard or spreadsheet needed. You can also attach a photo and timestamp to each entry for full documentation.

This cuts down the time it takes to collect and log data and reduces mistakes that often happen during manual entry or when transferring field notes back at the office.

Built with the Restoration Workflow in Mind

Moisture meters are a key tool when responding to water damage. This integration helps users collect the right data, at the right time, in the right place. It’s designed for teams that need accurate documentation without slowing down their work in the field.

“Working efficiently has always been our focus at magicplan. With this Tramex integration, we’re eliminating time-consuming tasks and making it easier to tie field data right to the plan. It’s another step toward unlocking better workflows for restoration pros,” said Andreas Boehm, CEO at magicplan.

Ryan Stanley, Global Head of Sales at Tramex added, “Tramex Meters are delighted to partner with magicplan to bring restorers perfectly integrated moisture reporting, Tramex moisture meter readings flowing seamlessly into magicplan’s field documentation app. This integration eliminates errors and improves efficiency for restoration professionals. Capturing accurate & reliable moisture data in-the-moment is critical to tracking drying progress, making the right decisions, and providing comprehensive reporting document production. This is a game-changer for improved accuracy and workflow automation that we are proud to be part of!"

Now Available for Supported Devices

The integration is live in the magicplan app and supports a range of Tramex meters. This collaboration marks a step forward in making field documentation faster, clearer, and better suited for professionals in the restoration industry.
