More About the Technician Award

This award highlights and celebrates the frontline of our industry, the technicians. This award recognizes their hard work, dedication and their tenacity. Nominations are open from Friday, August 1 to Sunday, August 31, 2025. Runner-ups and winners are judged by a panel of industry peers and experts that are judging based on the criteria listed here.

The award is presented at the Violand Business Planning Retreat, November 13-15 in Charlotte Harbor, FL. The winning technician’s company will receive:

Up to two (2) free seats to the retreat
A customized and comprehensive strategic plan for 2026 and beyond
Guidance provided by VMA’s Business Coaches
Networking opportunities with their peers

This is valued at $1,800.
