Cost of Doing Business (CODB) Survey – Now Live
RIA’s annual CODB survey is open and accepting responses at costofrestoration.com. This critical tool helps benchmark financial data across the industry and supports operational planning for all restorers. Participate today and help build a stronger financial foundation for the industry.
TPA Scorecard
RIA released its latest Third Party Administrator (TPA) Scorecard results, giving contractors valuable insight into how TPAs perform on contractor support, guidelines, claim volume and claims process. This data helps restorers make informed decisions and advocate for improved practices industry-wide. The report is free to RIA Members and $49.99 for non-members.
Legislative Tracking & Advocacy
Through our Advocacy & Government Affairs (AGA) Committee, the RIA monitors state and federal legislation affecting restorers—from licensing and solicitation restrictions to insurance reform. We're working to ensure restorers have a voice in policy decisions that impact their business. Restorers can also report legislative issues in their area.
Canada Prompt Payment Position Paper Released
RIA has released an official position paper supporting Prompt Payment legislation in Canada, advocating for timely compensation for restoration contractors. This marks a major step in our advocacy efforts across North America.
