Packing and Like Cleaning Method in Contents Restoration

By Annissa Coy
March 15, 2024

In this episode of Ask Annissa, Annissa talks about the Like Cleaning Method!

The Like Cleaning method is a revolutionary approach to cleaning that focuses on decluttering and organizing spaces based on the principle of "like with like." This method, popularized by cleaning and organization experts, emphasizes grouping similar items together to create a more efficient and visually appealing living or working environment. The same concepts can improve and enhance your packout and cleaning processes.

At the core of the Like Cleaning method is the idea that organizing items by category rather than location leads to a more systematic and sustainable cleaning process. By gathering all items of the same type in one place, individuals can easily see what they have, avoid duplicate purchases, and make informed decisions about what to keep or discard. This method not only simplifies the cleaning process but also promotes a sense of order and harmony in living spaces.

Categorizing items such as clothing, books, or kitchen utensils together can create a more streamlined and visually pleasing environment that is conducive to productivity and relaxation.

While the Like Cleaning method offers a practical and effective way to declutter and organize living spaces by grouping similar items together, it also works in a packout and cleaning process. Keeping items together that will be handled and cleaned similarly is more efficient and reduces handing and risk of breakage.
