Restoration and Remediation Industry News

Lightspeed Restoration Expanding with 14 New Territories Across the Country

January 4, 2024

Lightspeed Restoration has expanded rapidly since its July launch, signing additional agreements with six franchise owners for 14 new territories. Providing 24/7, world-class service from highly trained technicians to address water and fire damage restoration as well as indoor air quality (IAQ) improvements, the brand now has 12 locations open and more in the pipeline.

Lightspeed Restoration debuted with franchisees opening for business in Lexington, Kentucky; Mobile, Alabama; and Covington, Louisiana. The momentum grew from there, answering an increasing demand in the $210 billion restoration market. Over the past five months, Lightspeed Restoration has signed franchise development agreements with experienced business owners to serve West Nashville, Tennessee; Northern Virginia; Twin Cities East Metro, Minneapolis; Richmond, Virginia; Daytona Beach, St. Augustine and East Duval County, Florida; and the Tri-Cities area of Virginia.

These local teams of Lightspeed owners and technicians offer immediate, expert help with restoration and remediation for residential and commercial properties. Increases in extreme weather events, coupled with aging infrastructure and subpar building methods, have accelerated the need for Lightspeed’s skill in recovering from common water emergencies, structure fires, storms and other natural disasters.

“With the launch of Lightspeed Restoration this summer, we set out to make an immediate impact on the local communities we serve and to quickly expand the brand’s reach in multiple states,” said Steve Willis, president of Lightspeed Restoration. “Thanks to the expertise of our team and heightened demand for the restoration services we provide, we have done just that.”

Lightspeed Restoration is seeking qualified franchisees who are ready to help their community when disaster strikes. Restoration or construction industry experience is a plus but is not necessary; Lightspeed offers extensive training and a business model designed to succeed. The company is looking for passionate, hard-working leaders who want to invest in themselves and benefit from the knowledge and guidance of an experienced franchising team. Key markets for development include Phoenix, Las Vegas and multiple cities throughout Florida and Texas.
