Restoration Specialties Franchise Group (RSFG) is pleased to announce Chris Ring as President & CEO of the organization. Although Chris has been at the helm for the past two years as president, the addition of the CEO responsibilities marks a significant moment in the company’s evolution.               

The RSFG family of specialty restoration brands will pivot and separate from their long-time home in Livonia, Michigan, which is where Electronic Restoration Services (ERS) was born. The Restoration Specialties headquarters team is currently searching for a new home in Michigan in order to better manage the brands from a national level.

Chris Ring expressed that the past retirement of founder Lee Capatina and this final organizational change “position the company to meet its vision to be the expert of choice for specialty restoration. Our contractor and carrier customers need a company with long term dedication to specialty contents
for their residential and commercial customers, from coast to coast. And we are here to fill that need.”

Restoration Specialties manages four specialty restoration brands. In addition to ERS, they oversee Art Recovery Technologies (ART), Document Restoration Services (DFD), and the soon to be launched Textile brand (TEX).

The Livonia, Michigan, company-owned franchise remains strong and viable under the leadership of Leo Gusfa. This franchise handles losses in all specialty categories for southeast Michigan and greater Toledo as well as maintains a large loss team that handles Commercial and CAT events.
