Contec Introduces Effective, Botanical Citric Acid Disinfectant

contec citric acid
April 10, 2017
Contec® Citric Acid Disinfectant is a ready to use, natural, botanical solution that is strong enough for restoration jobs and safe enough for homes and businesses. The low-odor profile is ideal for people with chemical sensitivities. It can be used for mold remediation, flood or water damage restoration, sewage backflow clean up, biohazard remediation, and carpet cleaning.

Contec Citric Acid Disinfectant is registered as EPA Category IV (lowest toxicity category) disinfectant yet is strong enough to be effective against more difficult to kill non-enveloped viruses such as Norovirus, Poliovirus, Rotavirus, Adenovirus Type 2, and Canine Parvovirus. It is tuberculocidal, meeting OSHA’s Bloodborne Pathogen Standards.

Contec® Citric Acid Disinfectant is listed in the US EPA’s Design for Environment (DfE) program. This program recognizes products that meet the stringent ingredient criteria and do not contain known carcinogens, reproductive or developmental toxicants.

“Contec is proud to add Citric Acid Disinfectant to our line of disinfectants and solutions,” says Stephen Leung, Director of Training and New Technologies. “We recognize the needs of our consumers who have chemical sensitivities or are looking for different disinfectant options. We hope this product can be beneficial to many of our customers.”

Contec Citric Acid Disinfectant is available in quart and gallon bottles. It is important to follow label instructions for disinfection. For more information about Contec Citric Acid Disinfectant, go to www.sporicidin.com.
