A call for presentations and workshops has been announced for the 2016 Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) 19th Annual Meeting.

Presentations are sought on:

  • IAQ assessment strategies

  • mold and microbes

  • research

  • interpretation of laboratory analytical results

  • principles of developing a sample strategy

  • methods and best practices for IAQ contractors

  • building sciences

  • interaction with other professionals on multidisciplinary teams

  • emerging science

  • HVAC and ventilation

Presentations are also welcome on other topics related to indoor environments, including business management and legal topics. Presentations must be strictly non-commercial. Those interested in giving technical presentations should submit an abstract no more than 400 words in length, which includes the presentation title, a brief description of its contents and references cited. Submittals must also include the speaker’s biography. Presentation times are 50 minutes in length.

Deadlines:

  • Presentation and workshop submittals: June 15, 2015

  • Final selections: July 15, 2015

  • Notification: Aug. 1, 2015

Selected speakers will be given complimentary or discounted admittance to the Meeting.

The Meeting takes place Jan. 24-27, 2016, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Orlando, Fla. Also taking place at that time is the AHR Expo, Jan. 25-27, Orange County Convention Center. IAQA is an Endorsing Association of the Expo.
