Connecticut-based Disaster Restoration Services LLC has received the “Outstanding New Business of the Year” Award from the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, according to a press release. Danny Strong, president and owner, accepted the award at the Chamber’s Annual Luncheon during its Business Expo on November 18, 2014.

This award program recognizes business owners for their dedication, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

“Disaster recovery and improving homes and office buildings has always been a passion of mine,” says Strong. “I enjoy putting people at ease and helping them to rebuild because I know how to do it well.”

In 2009, Strong formed Disaster Restoration Services. He has completed several courses in construction planning and safety training. His education is ongoing for himself and his staff.
