According to a release, the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) Board of Directors held its annual election of officers for the 2013-2014 term February 26 during the IAQA 16thAnnual Meeting in Orlando, FL. Three IAQA Directors elected from slate issued by the Nominating Committee were also installed in Orlando at the IAQA General Membership Meeting held on February 28.

Donald M. Weekes, CIH, CSP, of INAIR Environmental, Ltd., Ontario, Canada, was elected IAQA President. Derrick Denis, CIEC, CIAQP, of Clark Seif Clark, Inc., Tempe, AZ, was elected IAQA First Vice President. Elected to the two IAQA Vice President offices were Daniel Greenblatt, ASCS, CMR, CMH, of Envirotech Clean Air, Inc., Stoneham, MA, and Kent Rawhouser, WLS, CMRS, of A&J Specialty Services, Inc., DeForest, WI. Wei Tang, PhD, of QLab in Cherry Hill, NJ, was elected IAQA Treasurer.

One new IAQA Director came on the IAQA Board in Orlando. Eva M. King, MSc, PhD of INDOOR Biotechnologies Inc., Charlottesville, VA was elected to a three-year term. Two members, Daniel Greenblatt and Wei Tang, were re-elected as Director for three year terms.

Other members of the IAQA Board of Directors include Donald Herrmann, CIEC, of DC Herrmann & Associates, Tampa, FL; Michael A. Pinto, CSP, CMP, of Wonder Makers Environmental, Inc., Kalamazoo, MI; Larry D. Robertson, M.S., B.S., CIEC, CMRS, CIAQP, of Robertson Environmental Consulting Group, LLC, Jewett, TX; Cole Stanton of Fiberlock Technologies, Inc., Andover, MA; and, IAQA’s Immediate Past President, Carl Grimes, CIEC, of Healthy Habitats LLC in Denver, CO.

At the IAQA General Membership Meeting, IAQA honored Elliott Horner, PhD, of UL AQS, Marietta, GA, who completed a three-year term of service on the IAQA Board.

IAQA will hold its 17thAnnual Meeting from March 17 – 19, 2014 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville.
