The International Cleaning and Restoration Association (ICRA) has announced recent affiliations with the New England Institute of Restoration and Cleaning (NEIRC) and the New York Rug Cleaners Institute (NYRCI), according to a press release. NEIRC and NYRCI have teamed up with five other trade associations to make up the ICRA membership, which provides nationwide benefits and advanced educational opportunities to all members.

NEIRC was founded in 1953 with the idea of bringing “professional cleaners together to build friendships and share knowledge of the cleaning and restoration profession” - something that they still practice today.  NYRCI was originally established in 1959 on the principle of introducing the newest technology in both machinery and chemistry and continuing “their goal to better ourselves to serve the public more professionally.”

ICRA is comprised of 8 regions of which 7 are now led by regional associations. The next region being developed includes: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Jillian in the ICRA home office at jolson@meetingsandevents.com or calling 888-795-5891. For more information, visit www.icrassociation.org.
