Rowan University should have come clean sooner with a report that found mold, mainly in the heating/ventilation systems, in 109 of the 113 student townhouses in one of its residential complexes, according to a story on NJ.com.


A longtime Rowan environmental consultant - who now claims he’s been “banned” from the campus - found in January that mold had returned to a unit he had inspected and cleaned after one student requested a test. The report cited “heavy to excessive” mold in 70 percent of the units.
