Rob and Tuesday Hanavan of Cincinnati, Ohio traveled to Washington, D.C. last week to attend the International Franchise Association (IFA) Public Affairs Conference. They were honored for having won the Rainbow International Franchisee of the Year Award earlier this year.

“The IFA is proud to recognize the outstanding efforts of Rob and Tuesday with the Franchisee of the Year Award,” said IFA Chairman Ken Walker, chairman & CEO of Driven Brands.  “The franchising community is an important component of the U.S. economy due to the hard work of these exemplary individuals who have helped bolster the growth of the industry.”

Franchise owner-operators representing thirty franchise systems were recognized at the event with over 500 franchise industry leaders meeting with over 200 congressional offices about issues important to the future of franchising such as healthcare reform and access to credit.

“This award is a reflection of our entire team’s caring, commitment and dedication,” said Rob. “To us, it’s about more than just doing a job. The Rainbow International system helps us build long-term relationships with our customers. Being recognized again, at this venue surrounded by so many other franchise owners, helps remind us what good company we’re in and what it takes to make dreams like ours reality.”

“The Rainbow International team is thrilled the Hanavans won this award,” said Rainbow International president David Bethea. “They exemplify everything that makes the Rainbow International philosophy unique: commitment, caring, faith and perseverance.”
