The Experience Events team Celebrated their 40th Show in Charleston, South Carolina on April 19-20. After having only virtual events during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Conference & Exhibition had a huge in-person turnout. Registration leading up to the event and onsite was very strong and the show was incredibly successful with approximately 1,000 attendees. The Conference & Exhibition was held at the Charleston Area Convention Center and the exhibit hall was full of industry-related exhibits and live educational demonstrations. Outside exhibits featured live demos with a chance to try truck-mounted equipment and several tools.

The Experience educational programs featured three concurrent classroom tracks taught by some of the industry’s best instructors and guest PhD’s who shared much needed valuable information. Featured keynotes Jeff Jones and Dr. Gavin McGregor Skinner were outstanding when they discussed virus cleaning, disinfection, and the establishment of restorers and cleaners being among "essential workers" in the pandemic. There were also great keynotes from O.P. Almaraz and Howard Partridge who closed out the show with very important business messages for our world today.

The hands–on and live demonstrations in the exhibit hall were constantly busy.  he hands-on sections were led by Barry Costa in the restoration house while Shawn Bisaillon and Scott Warrington engaged attendees in the Shaw Learning Lab.

The Experience Conference in Charleston concentrated on cleaning and restoration segments within the industry. Several sessions were focused on COVID-19 Cleaning. The educational tracks use both hands-on and live demonstrations for enhanced learning techniques.  Being the 40th show not only was reason to celebrate in itself, but it was also a major celebration since industry friends and colleagues have missed being together over the last 18 months. The Experience hosted a party on Tuesday with a live band and tons of food and drinks. It was so great to see people back together again.

Jennifer Wilkinson, Show Manager, stated, “Our conventions and tradeshows continue to thrive and our attendees get to see, try out and buy the latest and best equipment, products and management & marketing information available. We want to shout out a huge thanks to our sponsors and exhibitors for supporting this show which enables us to continue to keep the registration prices lower for attendees.  The Charleston Show was packed and the hands-on demos were extremely popular. Ms. Wilkinson stated, I am looking forward to seeing all of you in Las Vegas in September.”

The Experience Team has begun production work for the next in person show, The Experience Convention & Trade Show in Las Vegas at the Paris Hotel and Casino September 8, 9, and 10, 2021.
