Columbia, MD – In an industry first, the Restoration Industry Association (RIA) is bringing together the leaders of five industry associations to discuss the future of the cleaning and restoration industry and how the organizations can collaborate for the benefit of their constituents. Held before the Association’s annual meeting on Wednesday, March 9th, at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo., the Industries Working Together panel discussion will include a Q&A format to encourage audience involvement.

Participating on the panel are Paul Pearce, President, Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC); Carl Grimes, President, Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA); Jeff Jones, President, Association of Rug Care Specialists (ARCS); Charlie Wiles, President, American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC); and Frank Headen, President, Restoration Industry Association (RIA). The panel presentation will be moderated by Tim Shaw, RIA Executive Director, and Glenn Fellman, president of RIA’s association management company.

The RIA Leadership Summit and Industry Expo will take place from March 8-11 and will also feature four facilitated discussion forums on a host of hot topic themes, two keynote addresses, traditional education sessions, networking events and the annual membership meeting.

RIA has also lowered the registration price for the Leadership Summit, allowing companies to send more employees to benefit from the variety of learning opportunities. The early-bird registration deadline is Feb. 21st. Deadline for room reservations at The Broadmoor is Feb. 7th.
