Fluke Offers Look Behind Innovation Curtain

April 12, 2011

EVERETT, Wash., April 12, 2011 – Fluke Corporation, the global leader in portable electronic test and measurement, is providing contractors, electricians and building facility managers with an inside look at how it brings innovative products to market. Through June 30, interested professionals can visit a special website (www.fluke.com/innovationinside) that takes visitors through Fluke’s unique process of developing innovative tools.

“Listening to people who use our products to get their jobs done is a vital part of our development process. We take their input and combine it with our experience and leadership in the test and measurement industry,” says George Allen, director of product planning at Fluke. “The result is product innovation that receives industry accolades and expands our patent holdings, but more importantly allows us to help professionals in the field to be winners because our tools help them succeed. We feel our greatest sense of pride when a customer selects our tools as their partner on the job."

Visitors to the special website will have a chance to view a series of short videos that document the product development process unique to Fluke. In addition, site visitors will have a chance to win a Fluke “fantasy tool bag” with $2,500 in tool.

“Tackling the problems that our customers face in the real world without compromising safety, accuracy, reliability and ruggedness are essential to making the grade as a Fluke innovation,” Allen said.
