(Wood Dale, IL, September 16, 2010) – Disaster Kleenup International, Inc., is stressing the importance of planning for disasters during its participation in National Preparedness Month, sponsored by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Launched in February 2003, Ready is a national public service advertising (PSA) campaign designed to educate and empower Americans to prepare for and respond to emergencies including natural and man-made disasters. The goal of the campaign is to get the public involved and ultimately to increase the level of basic preparedness across the nation. Ready has sponsored National Preparedness Month for a seventh straight year.
“Being an active participant in National Preparedness month makes perfect sense for DKI,” said Dale Sailer, President of DKI. “We strongly believe that adequate planning and preparation helps people and companies recover from a disaster faster and can minimize the overall expense.
