On April 23-24 Business Mentors, Inc held their first annual Large Loss and Business Development Summit. The sessions prepared some of the elite contractors from across North America to obtain, sell and manage large losses as well as tips to improve their operations.

The event was held at the state of the Art Facilities in Rolling Meadows, IL that house JC Restoration. The building features over 100,000 square feet including a 110-seat auditorium.

JC Restoration has been operating in the Chicago area for over twenty-five years. Warner Cruz CR, President of JC Restoration has implemented systems that have allowed him to create one of the most professional large loss companies in the country. He taught the process and systems involved in professionally managing large losses and how to identify and exceed the expectations of the property owners, tenants, adjusters and all stakeholders on a large loss.

Business Mentors Inc presented topics covering how to manage an effective restoration company and build a foundation for a growing company. Topics covered leadership, financial management, staff development, managing banking relationships, profit sharing and much more.

Phillip Rosebrook Jr., Partner in Business Mentors Inc said “Knowing how to manage a large loss is important, but with effective leadership and organizational management a restoration company can leverage large loss performance and create a great organization.” We would also like to extend a warm thank you to the many people that helped present, including the brief Lightening Round sessions.

Attendees stated that they were very impressed with the entire event from the large loss to the management sessions. The event was designed to facilitate networking and sharing of ideas. Chris Hitz of Advanced Restoration in Erie, PA said, “This is the best industry event that I have attended.” Many others commented on the value and quality of the Summit.

In response to the feedback Phil Rosebrook, Sr., Partner, Business Mentors Inc said, “Look for this to be an annual event. We are very pleased to be able to provide an advanced training and networking event for owners and managers of restoration companies.”
