Virginia Reverses Mold Inspection and Remediation License Law
The
IICRC continues to closely follow state legislation and licensing in the mold
remediation industry, including the latest change in the state of Virginia,
according to a press release.
On
April 18, a law was enacted in Virginia to repeal the licensing requirement for
companies providing mold inspection and remediation services in the state.
After July 1, the day the repeal goes into effect, registrants will no longer
be required to have a state license in order to perform these services.
