Elan Pasmanick

Elan Pasmanick repairs and teaches how to repair restoration equipment under the business name Born To Repair LLC. He also offers rental equipment and consults with manufacturers and importers on their equipment’s build quality and repairability. 

Elan’s goal is to help transition the industry to in house repairs and to reduce the dependency on big repair shops. Even though most people know him for his immature sense of humor on social media, some of his posts actually have some useful information. He started the first and so far the largest Facebook group for people who repair equipment called In House Restoration Equipment Repairs.  

To make Elan seem more relatable his wife told him to mention that he also has a family, three cats, a dog, two turtles and many fish in his pond. Of course, only his turtles and fish live in the pond.
