Firehouse Education Opens Registration for Its Internationally Recognized Hands-On Restoration Training Experience
A five-day hands-on immersive training combines classroom instruction with real-world field training

Firehouse Education has opened registration for its internationally recognized Hands-On Restoration Training Experience, an immersive program designed to help restoration professionals build confidence through practical, real-world training.
Designed for restoration business owners, technicians, project managers, contents specialists, and aspiring restoration professionals, the five-day experience combines foundational classroom instruction with intensive hands-on training using professional equipment, proven workflows, and realistic restoration scenarios that mirror the challenges encountered in the field.
Unlike traditional classroom-only programs, Firehouse Education places students inside a full-scale simulated residential fire-loss environment, where they perform the same cleaning, documentation, pack-out, deodorization, and restoration processes used on actual restoration projects. Every exercise is designed to provide practical, real-world experience in a controlled learning environment that mirrors the realities of the field.
Throughout the week, participants work side-by-side with internationally recognized restoration educators Annissa, Kevin, and Travis Coy, learning proven cleaning techniques, restoration systems, and industry best practices while using professional equipment and workflows they can immediately implement in their own companies.
“Where Restoration Training Gets Real is more than a slogan,” said Annissa Coy, co-founder of Firehouse Education. “It reflects our commitment to providing authentic, experience-driven education that simply can't be replicated through classroom instruction alone. We believe people learn best by doing, which is why every student leaves our program with the confidence that comes from having actually performed the work they'll be expected to do back in the field.”
Since its founding, Firehouse Education has helped train restoration professionals representing restoration companies throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia.
Registration is now open for August 17–21, 2026 and October 19–23, 2026.
