Leadership, Franchise Growth, and the Future of Restoration

Mark Davis of Signal Restoration Services and PuroClean shares insights on long term strategy, data, and franchise first growth

On this episode of Ask The Expert, we’re joined by Mark Davis the Co-CEO of Signal Restoration Services and Chairman & CEO of PuroClean. We discuss long-term leadership and franchise-driven growth in an industry that is ever changing.

Mark Davis is an accomplished leader in the restoration industry. He and his business partner Frank Torre acquired Signal Restoration Services in 2012 and PuroClean in 2015. They have successfully scaled both companies, growing PuroClean from 200 to more than 500 locations across North America and Signal Restoration Services to a full Commercial Loss and referral source for PuroClean. 

In this episode we discuss:

  • Under private ownership, PuroClean has made long-term, franchise-first decisions without quarterly/annual financial pressures, allowing them to reinvest into training, technology, and franchisee support.
  • They’ve established critical systems that include regional director to franchise ratios, robust training programs, and a servant leadership culture focused on franchisee success, enabling them to scale to 500+ locations. 
  • A key driver alongside their seamless PuroClean and Signal Restoration Partnership, they’ve secured national insurance carrier accounts while delivery white glove service. 
  • Data is not just tracked; it’s closely monitored which help push the brands initiatives into the future. They monitor industry events, trends, and invest in AI, data analytics, and much more. 
  • They are elevating industry standards and bridging the gaps by leveraging their National Leadership Council (NLC) and collaborating with the RIA, most recently through their AGA Event that they held at their home office in Tamarac, FL.
