Sasser Restoration Achieves DOSH Licensing in California, Expanding Safety and Service Capabilities

Sasser Restoration Earns Key California Licenses for Asbestos Abatement

July 21, 2025

Sasser Restoration, a trusted leader in property restoration and environmental services, proudly announces that it has obtained its Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) license registration for asbestos abatement in California as well as the CSLB Classification C-22 for Asbestos Abatement. This important milestone enables Sasser to further its commitment to safety, compliance, and excellence while serving its clients throughout the state.

The DOSH license, issued by California’s Department of Industrial Relations, authorizes contractors to safely perform asbestos-related work and other hazardous material abatement projects. Achieving this license registration requires rigorous training, adherence to strict health and safety standards, and demonstration of technical proficiency in handling hazardous environments.

The CSLB C-22 classification is a specialized contractor license that certifies Sasser’s expertise and authority to perform asbestos abatement work as defined by the California Contractors State License Board. Earning both credentials required rigorous training, adherence to strict health and safety standards, and demonstrated technical proficiency in handling hazardous environments.

By securing both the DOSH license and the CSLB C-22 classification, Sasser Restoration is now fully equipped to support clients with a wider scope of services, including asbestos abatement, ensuring projects are completed safely, effectively, and in full regulatory compliance.

"Obtaining these licenses is a significant achievement for our California team and a testament to the skill and dedication of our people," said Jerry Arevalo, Vice President of Sasser Restoration’s California operations. "These credentials not only strengthen our ability to meet client needs safely and effectively, but also reinforce our unwavering commitment to environmental health and workplace safety."

Sasser Restoration remains dedicated to providing responsive, expert services to commercial, healthcare, multi-family, and government clients across California and beyond.
