IICRC Opens Nominations for the Board of Directors

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) is accepting nominations for its Board of Directors, which is a volunteer board serving to represent the interests of its shareholders, certified firms and registrants while leading the direction of the organization. 

Nominees should possess industry knowledge and experience, be willing to contribute to the mission and ideals of the IICRC and be available to serve a three-year term.

Director nominees should be dedicated volunteers who are committed to achieving IICRC objectives, which include but are not limited to:

  • Being the leading independent, non-profit certification and standard-setting body in the Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Industries
  • Setting and promoting high ethical standards 
  • Advancing communication, collaboration, and technical proficiency within the industry.

A 15-member Board of Directors governs the IICRC. All nominees who meet the eligibility requirements as per IICRC Policy are sent to the shareholders for review and vote. The vote for four (4) open board positions shall be placed at the annual meeting of the IICRC Shareholders on September 30, 2024.

The IICRC is a global standards-developing organization (SDO), accredited through the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), and a credentialing body certifying individuals in 25+ categories within the inspection, cleaning, and restoration industries. With actively certified technicians and certified firms in more than 40 countries, the IICRC, in partnership with regional and international trade associations, represents the entire industry. The IICRC does not own schools, employ instructors, produce training materials, or promote specific product brands, cleaning methods, or systems.
