BluSky Restoration Contractors LLC has appointed Jeremy Rakers as vice president of its Champaign, Illinois, office. In his new role, Rakers will be responsible for managing this office’s operations including business development, customer relationships, project management, and administration.

As vice president, he is also responsible for leveraging the BluSky brand to develop relationships with industry professionals resulting in new business opportunities.

Rakers brings extensive experience in residential and commercial insurance restoration including project management, estimating and customer care.  He started in the restoration industry in 2012 with Menold Construction as a project manager.  Rakers has multiple IICRC certifications, including WRT/ASD, FSRT, AMRT, OCT, CCT, TCST, HST, CDS, and CHRT.

“I have enjoyed my time in the restoration industry over the years and have learned so much.  I am ready and honored to take on this responsibility as vice president,” Rakers said.

“I pride myself on the fact that I evaluate potential obstacles and find quick, clear paths to success without sacrificing quality and customer service, and I can’t wait to apply that my role here in Champaign.”
