On behalf of the RIA Board of Directors, RIA President Lee King has announced the selection of Association Headquarters (AH), a leading professional services firm located in Mount Laurel, NJ, and suburban Washington, DC, to provide management services for RIA beginning Jan. 1, 2020.

For over 40 years, AH has been providing organizations with a robust, cost-effective headquarters with a staff that works with volunteer leaders to achieve their mission and advance their organization. AH provides a community for associations and non-profits that offers innovation, inspiration, a wealth of experience, and the solutions needed to drive organizations toward success.

AH is committed to helping us achieve our goals through the delivery of programs and initiatives that benefit existing, new, and potential members, creating a positive member experience. AH will leverage their experience successfully managing related organizations, NADCA: The HVAC Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Association and the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA).

Kristy Cohen has been chosen to lead the RIA as Chief Executive Officer. Kristy is a seasoned association executive with a 7-year tenure at AH and over 20 years of experience in non-profit management.

In addition to Kristy's role with RIA, she will continue to serve part-time as Executive Director for NADCA: The HVAC Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Association. Kristy's role with NADCA has given her trade industry insight and experience that will align well with RIA and will help position us for continued growth and success, while staying focused on the needs and wants of our members.

King also thanked Chris Mundschenk and the RIA team at SmithBucklin for their service to RIA. The SmithBucklin team is working closely with AH to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.

AH will officially take on management as of January 1, 2020 and RIA members can expect to receive additional information regarding the transition in the coming weeks.
