Extensively peer-reviewed by industry experts before publication, the book will be provided to all paid class participants. Participants in the July 31 Trauma Class will be the first to use it, and then it will be rolled out to all other RSA classroom courses over the next couple of months.

The original restorative drying book, first published by Dri-Eaz in the 1980s, was written by Dri-Eaz Founder Claude Blackburn and Dri-Eaz education staff. In 2009, Purdue University selected the New Guide to Restorative Drying to be one of the textbooks for its newly established disaster restoration and reconstruction program.
