The Restoration Industry Association (RIA) is seeking entries for the 2013 Phoenix Awards for Innovation in Restoration and Reconstruction, according to a recent news release.

The competition is open to RIA member and non-member firms who are active service providers in the restoration and remediation industry. To be considered for eligibility, a project must be at least 90 percent complete by December 2012. Projects must involve the restoration or reconstruction of residential or commercial buildings. There is no minimum project size. Fees for members are $300 for the first entry and $200 for an additional entry. Non-member fees are $500 for first entry and $400 for the second entry. A firm may submit up to two projects in each category.

The registration deadline is Monday, December 17, 2012. Entries will be accepted until Friday, January 4, 2013, and will be assessed a $75 late fee if received after December 17th. The winners will be announced during the 68^th Annual Leadership Summit and Industry Expo at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. on April 23-25, 2013.
