Paul Davis participates in ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition"
Nixa, MO - July 17, 2009 - Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling of Southwest Missouri is participating in the latest ABC television network "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" project in Ash Grove, MO.
Dave Harbison, Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling of Southwest Missouri owner and his staff, will provide structural drying services for local homebuilder Millstone Custom Homes during the Paul Davis work to begin on Friday, July 17.
According to Julie Mercer, Paul Davis Restoration marketing director, the office is joining the crew from "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition", Millstone Custom Homes, and building partners PD National among others to complete an immense demolition and building project, in one week, a project that would ordinarily take at least four months.
"This is a home makeover project that has been highly publicized because of the deserving family who will benefit from the contributions of hundreds of local volunteers and tradesmen," said Mercer. "The family was selected from thousands of applicants because they have experienced more tragedy and hardship than any family should have to bear.
"We are honored to have been selected for the show as one of the general contractor teams to rebuild the home," Mercer said.
According to Mercer, Paul Davis Restoration is providing high-intensity drying systems to help with painting and drywall installation throughout the new 3,300 square foot home. "We'll be using the drying systems to maintain temperature and humidity levels while crews are working on drywall and sheetrock," said Mercer. "The drying system will begin to run constantly for approximately 18 to 24 hours beginning on July 17."
