SACRAMENTO, CA- The Cleaning and Restoration Association (CRA) has passed the 50 member milestone. In six months the association has managed to grow to 60 members. A few months ago, the organization elected and installed its Board of Directors, which includes:

According to Leo Grover, "I am honored to represent this organization in its inaugural year. We have brought together an amazing group of volunteers with a range of talents that allows us to grow this organization into a beneficial resource for any cleaning and restoration company that wants to join us."

Within the past few months, several IICRC courses have been presented including Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician, Carpet Cleaning Technician, Upholstery and Fabric Cleaning Technician, Water Damage Restoration Technician, and Applied Microbial Remediation Technician. CRA has also presented a Class 3 Asbestos Worker Training course. This course will also be offered again in Sacramento on November 2nd and 3rd, 2009. Regional Workshops are in development and will be announced in the near future.

The Board of Directors will be holding Town Hall meetings at various locations throughout California, Nevada and Arizona in the next few months. An informational meeting is being presented at the Hilton Hotel, Las Vegas on September 8th between 10 am and 12 noon in Conference rooms 4, 5, and 6. CRA will also have a booth at the Connections Convention starting September 9th through the 11th.
